My husband and I went in to look for a shoe for him. When we were walking around, I noticed a younger looking guy in his late 20s or early 30s walking around looking very timid. I couldn't find snow boots so I stopped to ask him if they had any in which his behavior just seemed really odd. He gave a short and uninterested answer and eventually said, "Sorry, we don't have any" and walked away. First off, it was in January and they didn't have snow boots! Secondly, I was even more suspicious as to why this man was acting so odd. We walked around and couldn't find what we were looking for so we headed towards the door. The associates in the store were all timid whispering to each other and just acting strange. It finally dawned on me that they were looking for shoplifters. When we walked out of the store, I looked back and noticed that young guy and another associate talking to each other and looking at us. I walked right back in and confronted the man and asked him he was eyeing us so badly and if he was afraid that I had stolen something. He said that there a lot of thefts in the past month so they were just being really attentive. But I told him that their strategy of being "attentive" was making me and customers feel uncomfortable. I told my husband I wasn't ever going to return to this store!
I would rate this store five out of five based on the level of quality they have when it comes to their professionalism and work.
I walked into this store with my three children that were having bad days just like adults do sometimes, but as a single mother I needed to get my son a pair of shoes to start school. My daughter that is 3 was behaving very obnoxious and naughty in the store, normally I would leave the store & come back on a day she could handle her behavior as she should but I had no choice today. Two female employees stood , laughing , rolling their eyes and watched me struggle dealing with my children I asked what they were laughing about as if I didn't know they were judging my children and I- she then replied with "they are just so cute" yes as if I can't see you are being sarcastic. But neither of them bother to ask if I needed help finding a shoe or helping finding a size absolutely nothing but judgement. do you think mothers LIKE to be treated like that when clearly they are already having a hard time? I shop at famous footwear religiously but I will NEVER EVER go back to that location after being treated that way. I am a single mother of 3 with 2 jobs and very limited time to get shopping done & today was not a pleasant experience for me in anyway. My children's behavior was beyond embarrassing, I don't condone their actions in any way but don't treat people like they shouldn't be at your store because they have children. If I could give you no stars I absolutely would !
Every time I have been to this particular location they are out of a particular shoe. I was greeted when I came in, but shortly thereafter I caught the associates just chatting and not helping anyone - including me! I like this location because it is close, but I think customer service needs improvement.
Great clean and well stocked. They usually have better clearance at this location than any of the others in town.
